1. What we collect
When you use Auditly, we collect the website URLs you submit for auditing, your account details (name, email, password hash), usage data (scan timestamps, scores) and standard web server logs (IP address, user agent, request path).
We do not collect the content of websites we scan beyond what is necessary to produce your audit report, and we do not share individual scan results with third parties.
2. How we use your data
We use your data to operate the Auditly service, deliver audit reports, improve scanner accuracy, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
3. Data retention
Scan reports are retained according to your plan. Free accounts retain the most recent scan per website. Paid plans retain full scan history. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from your account settings.
4. Cookies
We use a minimal set of session cookies required for authentication. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Optional analytics may be enabled in future with explicit opt-in.
5. Security
Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to production databases is restricted and audited.
